Campaign Design for a Sonoma County Nonprofit

Climate change is a hot topic (pun intended) so we were thrilled to partner with local, non-profit Sonoma Land Trust to design a fundraising campaign to support their work to make Sonoma County more fire and climate resilient.

We developed a creative container for this two-year campaign that included a name, logo and graphic universe, key messaging, a campaign microsite and supporting print and digital documents.

The campaign name needed to be hopeful but rooted in the urgency and necessity of their work. We explored many options with various tones but A Force For Nature was the clear winner, a call to action that reminds us the future is fragile and nature needs us.

To develop the campaign identity, we explored a few different directions but landed on a wordmark with organic curves and a handwritten feel that captured the casual and easy going vibe of Sonoma County. We also developed a visual style and icon system to quickly communicate the six pillars of the work the campaign is funding.

A microsite was designed to serve as a hub for the key campaign messaging. And then that messaging was leveraged across a virtual launch event, campaign video, and print and digital materials.

The campaign will continue to evolve and grow within the creative framework we developed for it. We’re so grateful to use our design and strategy skills to be A Force For Nature.
